Some news for the users which have Problems with Windows 10.
I got some help to reproduce the problem with loading plugins like Codemaster. The loading circle does loop forever. On my side the newest W10 does work with X-Sim. There is a bug in windows and the command shellexecute which do a simple hangup if used in some situations without a window is displayed.
It seems new Win 10 installations comes with another windows DLL and another shellexecute than updated PC's.
Most part of X-Sim do use this command, so no wonder there are problems.
Try Version 188.8.131.52 of X-Sim in the download section.
- X-Sim can control stepper actuators, DC motors, pneumatic and hydraulic. It is recommended to use intelligent controllers which will calculate the target position out of a own position feedback signal. This controllers do only get a new position and can handle the motion control with full attention in realtime. If you use windows as realtime control with a not intelligent general purpose interface you can use a additional PC as embedded MPU.
