View the latest post Attachment(s) Problems with Windows 10 (newer Creator Update)

Some news for the users which have Problems with Windows 10.
I got some help to reproduce the problem with loading plugins like Codemaster. The loading circle does loop forever. On my side the newest W10 does work with X-Sim. There is a bug in windows and the command shellexecute which do a simple hangup if used in some situations without a window is displayed.
It seems new Win 10 installations comes with another windows DLL and another shellexecute than updated PC's.
Most part of X-Sim do use this command, so no wonder there are problems.

Try Version 3.0.3.0 of X-Sim in the download section.

  • You can use a game input device for your first simulator test if you use a joystick axis as input instead of a game value. you can setup a user defined joystick in the extractor and define each axis in different ways. For example you can change the input values from -117 to 117 to a slider like value that is from 0 to 117. If you own a joystick with axis or buttons that are not used in a game, you can map there a button for a control function that will be sended to the converter.
